Thank you for choosing Bibia. Because our products are handcrafted by refugee women artisans, we maintain a careful process for returns and exchanges to preserve quality, fairness and sustainability. Please read the following policy carefully; by placing an order you agree to abide by these terms.
Eligibility for Return & Exchange
- Items may be returned or exchanged if they are defective, damaged in shipping, or the wrong item was delivered.
- Requests for return or exchange must be made within 7 calendar days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging intact. Products that have been washed, altered, or show signs of wear are not eligible.
Because many of our pieces are limited-edition and made in small batches, exchanges are subject to availability.
How to Submit a Return or Exchange Request
- Contact Bibia Customer Support at bibiacollection@gmail.com or call +880 1646234447 with your order number, description of the issue and photos of the product.
- We will review your request and if approved, provide you with return instructions and address.
The returned item must arrive at our facility within 14 days of our approval.
Refunds & Credits
- Once we receive the returned item and inspect the condition, we will notify you of the approval status.
- If approved, you may choose between:
- A store credit equal to the product value (to use at Bibia)
- A refund to the original method of payment (excluding shipping costs unless item is damaged/incorrect).
- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable except when the item is defective, we delivered the wrong item, or the item was damaged.
- Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval.
Exchanges
- If an exchange is requested and the replacement item is available, we will send the new item once we receive the original and it passes inspection.
- If the new item is unavailable, we will issue store credit or refund as above.
- You may be responsible for return-shipping costs unless the exchange is due to our error.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Items purchased on clearance or final sale (these will be clearly marked)
- Products with customised or monogrammed design as requested by the customer
- Products that have been used, washed, altered, or cleaned
- Items without original tags, packaging or barcode.
Product Condition & Unique Nature
- Bibia products are handmade by refugee artisans; slight variations in colour, weave, or finish are part of the unique character of each piece and are not considered defects.
- We go to great lengths to present accurate images and descriptions, but please allow for natural variation.
Shipping Damage & Lost Packages
- If your order arrives damaged, please keep the original packaging and contact us within 48 hours.
- If a package is lost in transit, we will coordinate with the courier and you must file a claim as instructed. Bibia will make every effort to assist.
International Orders
- For orders placed outside Bangladesh, the same return & exchange eligibility applies, but the customer is responsible for return shipping, taxes, customs duties or other charges incurred.
- Please contact us for instructions on international returns before shipping items back.
Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this Return & Exchange Policy at any time. The “Effective Date” at the top will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of the site or purchase after changes means you accept the updated policy.
